Resources
Currently we have three types of resource available for each of the five focus areas:
Resource Tasks, – the short, practical focused, activities designed to teach the resources for capability in a way which should intrigue and amuse pupils;
Capability Tasks – longer, more open, tasks requiring designing, making and evaluating, which we call Capability Tasks. Sometimes these are called projects; in the National Curriculum they are called designing and making assignments (DMAs); and
Chooser Charts – these are taken from the Student's Book. Some teachers find it useful to have photocopies of these sheets available for pupils to mark up, rather than "damage" the Student's Book which might been needed for use by other pupils later..
We hope to add sections from the original Teacher's Guides and also some Case Studies as the website develops.
