Learning design & technology provides pupils with skills and attitudes that will be useful to them for the rest of their lives whatever career path they choose. It fosters the ability to make decisions, plan a course of action and carry it out working as an individual and as a member of a team.

It gives them a 'can do' approach to the world and inspires them to see the world through new eyes – a place of opportunity where people are not at the mercy of their surroundings.
