Resource Tasks
Nuffield Design & Technology has developed a specific type of learning activity called a Resource Task. These are short, practical focused, activities designed to teach the resources for capability in a way which should intrigue and amuse pupils. In the National Curriculum they are called focused practical tasks and disassembly activities.
There are several difference sorts of Resource Task:

Communicating Design Ideas Resource Tasks (crts)
Resistant Materials Resource Tasks (rmrts)
Textiles Resource Tasks (trts)
Designing and Making with Food Resource Tasks (frts)
Designing and making safely (hsrts)
Mechanical Control Resource Tasks (mcrts)
Electrical Control Resource Tasks (ecrts)
Computer Control Resource Tasks (ccrts)
